Dear Parent/Guardian of ‘Extra/Ordinary’ Show Attendees,

I am contacting you today as a courtesy to remind you that our performance of ‘Extra/Ordinary’ is coming up on Saturday 3rd February at 7.15pm. It is going to be such a beautiful show and your young people are working really hard on their pieces for this performance. Please come along and support them, they are working so hard to make this a truly amazing performance and they can’t wait to show you. Tickets can be purchased here.

We will need all young people available at The Sundial Theatre in Cirencester from  10.30am on 3rd February, until the end of the performance, so that we can ensure that they are ready for the performance on the evening of that date. The performance will be approximately 1.5 – 2 hours long with an interval so should finish around 9.15pm and again can be picked up from outside the venue at this time.

We have sent a separate email about costume. Please note that if they need to wear their RPA uniform and they do not have one this will need to be ordered ASAP as delivery can take some time. They can be purchased here:

I am visiting the venue next week and will then email with a video of how to access the venue and with more specific details on drop off and pick up locations.

Please can we also ask that you make sure the young person has had a good breakfast before arrival (I’m talking big boy breakfast if they can stomach it!). They will have plenty of opportunity to eat and rest during the day but we plan to start rehearsals immediately so they will need their energy stores high! Please pack lots of snacks, food and small games and maybe a book to read for the day (cards, dobble etc tend to work well) while they are waiting to be called.

Please can we request that we have NO nuts due to allergies with some of our young people. We will not let any young person off site during the day to purchase more food so please pack those bags with all the goods. We have all our leaders, assistants and additional chaperones with us on the day to support the young people so please don’t worry if they are nervous – we are all there to support them! We are still looking for chaperones for the event (thank you to those who have already come forward – I will be in touch next week about this). If you are able to help us on the day and have (or are willing for us to apply for) an Enhanced DBS we would love the support.

If your young person will need medication administered while they are in our care, please ensure you have completed the medical form attached and returned to  us by January 26th.

Also, one final important note to make is that there must be no filming or photography of the children while they are performing in the show. This is really important and is to protect all of our young people.

Many thanks,

Laura and Georgia from the RPA Team 🙂

Ready to get involved?

All elements of the sessions are child centered and there is no pressure to perform,
just to relax, enjoy and have a good time.
