Steam Performance 2013

“Just wanted to say how amazing the show was and how inspiring it was to see so many happy children. Hannah’s confidence has grown so much in just the few weeks she has joined you. She gone from not being confident enough to speak in assembly to singing on her own at the show! Thank you so much to you and your team for the fantastic work you do. Hannah is counting the days to her next session.”

“Just thought I would drop you a note to say thank you so much for such a great show yesterday, I was so proud to see my daughter Ella in her first show, especially as she performed a duet with Evie, it brought a tear to my eye. We look forward to watching our DVD. Also a huge thanks to Jemma who has been a great teacher for Ella.”

Just a quick note of thanks for all your hard work over the weekend. Carys and Max thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it was a fantastic effort all round. It was so great to see so many happy faces and confident children. Well done.

“Hello Fi, I just wanted to say how wonderful the show was last night! My girl Ayesha was a very happy girl this morning. I am so proud of her. The sense of joy you must get from watching all your students perform must be immense. It gives the children such a huge boost in so many ways, just amazing.”

What Children Loved The Most…

Performing solos; creating the opening piece; having fun; walking on the catwalk, performing “Gangnam Style”, all of it!; watching all the other groups; performing on stage; seeing Fi’s face light up; performing to our parents; being part of a team- we made it happen; singing and dancing; performing in front of lots of people; everything!; seeing my teacher with the whole of Revolution Performing Arts; performing with little Katie from another group; the time we spent together brought us together as a team; can we PLEASE do Steam every week!…ok, every month!; the atmosphere was really cool; the mood changed when we did the contemporary dance”; everyone put in a lot of effort for “Gangnam Style”

What We’re Improving For Next Time…

We couldn’t hear back stage; there weren’t enough biscuits; didn’t like sitting on the floor; would like to be involved in more dances; would like there to be less of a gap in between the performances; would like to see everyone’s performances before the show!

Ready to get involved?

All elements of the sessions are child centered and there is no pressure to perform,
just to relax, enjoy and have a good time.
