PA Leaders (freelance contract)
Here at RPA we pride ourselves on boosting self-esteem and confidence, using the medium of Performing Arts, whilst encouraging children to have fun in a completely non pressurized environment. Our ethos and approach to children is completely child centred. In this respect, RPA is completely different to any other performing arts company. Within RPA we regularly say “it’s all about the children”.
We ask our leaders to leave ego at the door (radical!) and concentrate on the process rather than the product. Our focus is on providing a fantastic experience for every young person so they feel absolutely fabulous on and off stage.
RPA are now actively looking to speak with talented individuals who share the same vision.
Performing Arts experience is essential as is a passion to gently develop children’s confidence. You will need to be flexible and committed to young people’s needs but most of all your ability to encompass RPA’s ethos and take direction concerning the ethos, is primary. You will need to be able to manage your workload, timekeeping and also work as part of of a wonderful team.
In return, RPA will reward our RPA Leaders with excellent rates of pay, support and personal development. If you are the right person for us, we will give you a full RPA training programme, uniform and equipment.
If you are from outside Wiltshire, Oxfordshire or Gloucestershire, consider applying for our Ambassadors Programme.
If you would like to join our RPA family, please feel free to contact us or call us on 01793 792983 for an informal chat.
Working for RPA is a wonderful opportunity to express your performance experiences with children of all ages and abilities. It is about encouraging children to grow and develop naturally at their pace whilst in a warm, safe environment through movement, music and drama.
