After an amazingly successful Summer Fun project, we have decided to open three “one day workshops” during October half term. Places will be limited and will be on a first come, first served basis.
Frequently asked questions
Will my child be learning something useful?
Here at RPA our focus is on building a child’s confidence and improving self esteem. We consider these extremely important tools/life skills. The possibilities are endless when a child is taught these skills. So yes, your child will be learning not only these skills but structured routines, vocal technique and drama skills. Your child will also be given regular opportunities to individually express themselves as is the RPA way!
Will my child have fun?
I promise your child will love it! We have proof! (see below)
When are they?
Friday 25th October; Monday 28th October and Friday 1st November (09:30-15:30)
Where are they?
Oakhurst Community Primary School, Pioneer Road, Swindon, SN25 2HY
Are all the days different?
Yes. As we are child centred and child-led, we will do the activities the children request. I will post a questionnaire online nearer the time to ask the children which activities they would like to do each day.
Will we do a sharing at the end of each day?
We did do a sharing at the end of the summer fun project, but it was a 5 day project. It is not anticipated that the one day workshops will have a sharing due to time constraints.
Who will be taking the sessions?
Fi who is the founder of RPA will be taking the sessions with help from Jo, Cheryl & Rach (and maybe Paul!) Rapport (our secondary school group) will also be helping us out. We may also have some parent helpers. All will have been CRB checked.
What do people say about the holiday fun workshops?

“Sophie thoroughly enjoyed it and made some good friends. She’s blossomed during the week. Fi and her team are bursting with positive energy which ignites the children’s creativity”. Mrs Perry
“They’ve come home exhausted and raving about what they’ve done. For Naomi to sing in front of a big group of strangers is a big thing – for her to enjoy it is a massive achievement! Well done RPA!” Alison Morrell
